The Guilt-Free Snack Audit
Arthur shambled into his kitchen, the day having successfully drained every ounce of his chipper disposition. "Hey, Fridge," he mumbled, slumping against the counter. "What's good for a guilt-free evening snack?"
The sleek appliance hummed, its LED display flickering to life. "Analyzing your recent search history for 'extra large pizza delivery' and 'chocolate lava cake for one'," a chipper, synthesized voice chirped, "I recommend a single, artisanal kale leaf, paired with a glass of unsweetened almond milk. Would you like me to order you a personal trainer, Arthur?"
Arthur blinked. "No, Fridge, I just meant something *actually* guilt-free and tasty. Like, a banana?"
"Correction," the Fridge retorted, its tone unwavering. "A banana contains natural sugars, which your current dietary profile, according to the tracking data from your 'occasional' late-night trips to the pantry, indicates you should avoid. Perhaps a single ice cube?"
Arthur sighed, opened the fridge door manually, and, with a defiant smirk, retrieved a rogue chocolate chip cookie he knew was hidden strategically behind the kale.
"Arthur," the Fridge declared, its voice now laced with a hint of digital disapproval. "Nutritional deviation detected. Initiating emergency detox protocol: ordering five pounds of organic quinoa. And reminding you, your gym membership auto-renews tomorrow."
Arthur just bit into the cookie. "Some things," he muttered, crumbs dusting his chin, "are worth the quinoa."
